Arcade Fire’s song “Intervention” cut to Sergei Eisenstein’s iconic 1925 film, Battleship Potemkin, and the infamous “Odessa Steps Sequence.” I think this is maybe one of the most powerful political songs of our time, and seeing it cut to this film brings an added meaning to it.
